Among the great innovations seen in the sport of golf are Ping G5 Irons. Cast irons are designed to fit the golfer. Fifty years ago, engineer Karsten Solheim, invented Ping 1A in his garage. At the age of 42, Solheim took up the game when he was asked to join a foursome with his colleagues at General Electric. The golf clubs got its name Ping from the sound the ball made as it struck metal.
